Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone!

This year is not only special because its a new day. We are also celebrating a new decade. My team and I have so many wonderful things to look forward to in 2020. Before we look ahead I want to take the time to acknowledge the past year.

In 2019, we expanded our horizon and met new Artisans, worked with amazing professionals, visited new countries and forged great friendships. My team and I always value people over things first. We launched two new brand songs that are on Spotify, Apple, and Amazon music under Adolophine Designs. We even debut a music video for one of the songs.

We introduced you to new products, started a Youtube page, created a brand partnership with the Sapeurs in Congo, learned from our mistakes and continue to grow. One thing I was shocked to learn this year is that your biggest cheerleaders aren't necessarily your friends or immediate circles. You have to branch out, meet new people and make connections. The new people we met this year have taken our mission to heart and I'm really excited to see what we will create together.

Some of my business goals for 2020 is to start doing larger pop up shops throughout the USA, participate in more fashion shows, meet new Artisans, continue to learn how to build the business and actually work on the Youtube page. I'm socially awkward most of the times so I feel weird doing videos. One of my New Year's resolution is to get over that fear and just go for it! Please wish me luck and hold me accountable.

One of my favorite African proverbs is "Time is a teacher". We celebrated our one year anniversary in Mid November. During that time we have learned a lot and have made adjustments. We appreciate your support, feedback, criticism and your love. We have this unrelenting drive to show the world the beauty and splendor of Africa, Africans and it's artistry. We are grateful for you allowing us to do something that we feel so passionately about. It's not always easy but it is the right thing to do.

We hope to continue to make you proud, open your eyes and heart to the beauty and splendor of Africa and that we keep your support. In this new year and decade, we wish you and your loved ones a happy, healthy, prosperous and beautiful 2020.
